These two small lakes are right by the Roche lake gravel road, about a kilometer before the resort. Fishing them is tough in all seasons because of the abundance of freshwater shrimp that make trout disinterested in anything requiring some effort to catch. There are extensive reeds along the shores, as well as underwater vegetation that provide cover and food for trout, but getting your hook in there is another thing. I have had spotty success on both lakes by casting small lures. At times fish can be seen rising and taking small flies. Very few anglers fish the lakes which must be due to their own experiences and the lack of positive reports from other anglers. I do fish both lakes when I feel I need a bit of a challenge There are aerators installed in both Rose and Tulip to prevent winterkill. Some huge fish may be still in there
