This site has the objective of providing unbiased and competent information on most techniques of freshwater fishing for trout, salmon and char.  You will be able to find details on: main fish species, their habits and recommendations on equipment, lures and flies. The “Destinations” section includes brief articles on streams and lakes, outlining the specific conditions in these bodies of water. 

As a freshwater fisherman for over 30 years, I have enjoyed all techniques of catching trout, including: float, fly, spey, gear, bottom-bouncing and ice-fishing.  Having that rich background in fishing styles has allowed me to appreciate the different (and sometimes disagreeing) user groups and understand their values and concerns.

Hopefully this site will become a useful resource where we can all get together in pursuit of mutual goals: the enhancement of our fisheries and environment conservation.
